Access control is a system of organizing easier and faster access of outgoing passengers to the security control zone, as well as passport and customs control. At the access control desk, the passenger must show a boarding pass and a valid identity document. Airport staff checks hand luggage, dimensions and quantity, after which it directs the passenger to security control.
Parents with babies up to 2 years of age and passengers have an advantage in the queue at the access control
accompanied by airport staff belonging to the category of passengers with special needs.
Security control is located at the entrance to the passenger waiting room (eng. gate).
Passengers pass through the metal-detector door, while hand luggage and things are examined on an X-ray device. When going through the security control, passengers should take out all metal things, as well as things like mobile phones, laptops and put them in a plastic container. Also, take off the jacket or coat, depending on the case and the shoes.
If you have a metal implant installed, it is obligatory to show medical documentation during the manual counter-sabotage security control. In the event that a metal object is used as a prosthetic device, the passenger is examined in a special cabin provided for that purpose.
If you have a pacemaker or other reason why going through a metal detector door can cause health problems, please tell the officer before the security check.
In hand luggage, liquids, gels and aerosols can be carried if they are packed in transparent bags in a single package of 100ml, a total of 1000ml per passenger. You can request transparent packing bags from the airport staff.
Please observe the restrictions when carrying items and luggage whose carrying in luggage is not allowed. You can see more about allowed items on the “Baggage” tab or check with the airport staff at the airport.
During the security control, it is necessary to strictly follow the instructions of the officer.
Passport control is located at the exit and entrance to the country.
On departure, the passport control is located immediately after the security control at the entrance to the passenger waiting room (eng. gate).
Upon arrival, passport control is located immediately upon entering the terminal building.
